To my dismay, Eirik loves to sit with his dad while he plays W.O.W. on the computer and drinks Diet Coke. I just pray that this is not an image of years to come!

This is Eirik making fresh Pesto with him mom and "aunt" Eugena. Good summer fun!

This week we discovered the amazing EXERSAUCER! It is guaranteed to provide at least 71/2 minutes of uninterupted fun after which Eirik will certainly need someone to continually congratulate him on his amazing new discoveries for another 2 minutes before he will need to be speedily rescued from said amazing saucer.

So far the bounchy seat has been working as a high chair, but as of today Eirik has officially outgrown it. He can sit straight up in it and wants to all the time. Talk abouty ab strength- That's my boy!

Eirik went to his first doctor's appointment this week. He is now 13 lbs 7 oz. He has almost doubled his wieght! this usually doesn't happen until babies are 6 months old. He is in the 90th percentile for his weight and 80th for his height. He's now 24" tall so he has grown almost 5 inches in 2 months. (No Wonder he is eating so much!!)
He is doing some other great tricks like standing by holding onto just my fingers (the books say this usually doesn't happen untill 3-4 months and sitting nearly by himself. He is so much fun!
